Official JoeFest 2023 Update
If you have been following our posts the last month you know Fresh Monkey Fiction will be exhibiting at JoeFest 2023 next weekend. The Fresh Monkey Fiction Booth (#20) will be in the front left of the exhibit floor. We’ll have a corner booth this year, so you can’t miss us.
We will have the following Items for sale at the booth:
Larry Hama Action Figure (1:18th Scale)
We will have a limited amount of these figures and will be limiting these to 2 per customer per day and will limit the amount we offer to fans per day. Larry will be at the show, so you can ask him to sign your figure. This figure is currently in stock on our website in case you are not able to attend the show.
Eagle Force Returns Intel Trading Cards: Series 01
This set was kickstarted by The Drawn Word earlier this year. Each set includes over 20+ cards and features a variety of characters throughout the Fresh Monkey Fiction universe. The Drawn Word is currently Kickstarting Series 02 and will offer both these sets on their website later this summer.
Eagle Force Return: R.I.O.T. – A.S.P.S. – Warhead figure (1:18th Scale)
This exclusive preview figure will be limited to 2 per customer per day and we will limit the amount we offer per day, to ensure everyone has an opportunity to purchase this figure. This figure will be bagged and not carded. We’ll have a few of these available after the show on our website, but will be offering this figure carded as part of a future assortment for those who will not be able to attend the show.
Operation: Monster Force Handbook. Season 01: Volume 01
This handbook features artwork, comic pages and bios for figures offered in wave 1 as well as future assortments. This handbook is a great way to dive in and discover the Operation: Monster Force universe. The handbook will also be for sale after the show on the Fresh Monkey Fiction website.
We will also have a ton of new reveals for many of our lines including:
Operation: Monster Force (1:12th Scale)
BigBadWorkshop and Fresh Monkey Fiction will be revealing prototypes for Operation: Monster Force wave 2 and a few work in progress reveals for future assortments. We are very interested in your feedback on this line, so please let us know what you think so we can continue to improve the assortments before we offer them for pre-order. We expect pre-orders for wave 2 to open at the end of summer. We are also happy to announce that GridIron Studios will be providing weapon designs for our future assortments and offering exclusive Operation: Monster Force Loadout Kits on their website later this year when wave 1 is released. We are super excited to be partnering with GridIron Studios on this and future assortments of the line.
Eagle Force Returns Wave 7, Wave 12 and more. (1:18th Scale)
We’ll have on display production samples of many of the figures in these assortments plus a few reveals of some figures from future assortments. These figures are expected to ship to BigBadToyStore sometime in June/July and are still available for pre-order. We will not have any samples of the figures from the Eagle Force Classics 40th Anniversary assortment. These figures did not make it in time and will be showcased at Power Con 2023 in August.
We will also have a few figures on display from our Cops N Crooks minis line and our holiday themed Naughty or Nice line that are currently in-stock and available at both BigBadToyStore and Fresh Monkey Fiction.
Also our friends at Chicken Fried Toys and Whiskeyjack Toys will be announcing some exciting collaborations with Fresh Monkey Fiction. So be sure to check out their booths and follow them on social media for these reveals.
But that’s not all!!! One of the most exciting things we’re doing at JoeFest this year is hosting a few indy toy folks at our booth, some of whom will have some of their own exclusive offerings. Chris from Grindhouse Toys will have a 1:18th scale D.R.E.A.D. Trooper figure, with some pretty cool retro VHS packaging. Ed from Devil’s Bargain Toys will also have a 1:18th scale The Bullet Man figure along with a trading card. Both Chris and Ed will be running the FMF booth for us this year so be sure to tell them “hello” and pick up their awesome figures. Arlen Pelletier Studios, who is the co-creator/sculptor for our holiday themed Naughty or Nice line, will be revealing his new line of 1:12 scale figures at our booth as well..so lots of cool stuff to check out from the friends of Fresh Monkey Fiction
Fresh Monkey Fiction is super excited about attending JoeFest 2023 next weekend along with many other fantastic indy toy creators like Animal Warriors of the Kingdom, Callsign Longbow, Marauder Task Force, Valaverse, Mark2Design, LeCroy’s Toys, Skeletron, Chicken Fried Toys, Whiskeyjack Toys and many more.
