I’ve said it before, I’ll say it again – I am so thankful for the folks out there that continue to preserve the history of our beloved hobby.
Many thanks once again go to Mr. Simon Letch, the Curator of/for the Sunbow Marvel Archive. He has a TON of amazing more offerings on his archive, so make sure to swing through and check it out! Alright, now that the formalities are out of the way, let’s get to work!
Simon was has shared (2) amazing pieces of G.I.Joe history from the collection of Wally Burr, namely the Sunbow audition sheets for none other than Zarana and the Crimson Twins! Pieces like this always offer amazing windows in to the past – For example, you’ll note a subtle name change for the Crimson Guard Commanders. Check it out –

How cool is that? I’m so happy we didn’t end up with MOVAT and TAVOM, sure, Tomax/Xamot is infinitely better, but MOVAT is way too close to MOBAT for me. 😀
Thanks again to Simon for sharing these amazing pieces with the public!
