In previous videos we’ve showed the articulated armatures that we’ll be sculpting on (AKA “bucks”).
This video shows the guidance that we are giving to the figure sculptor, Bill Merklein. Just like back in the 80s and 90s, he’ll have character line art and a 1:1 scale figure sculpture sheet (360 turnaround). As a bonus I’ve added some photo references. He should have everything he’ll need to bring Ron Rudat and Mark Pennington’s designs to life!
It’s been a lot of fun to observe this process as it unfolds. It’s going to be even better to have these in hand one day soon!
