Joe Morrone Talks Creating G.I.Joe

Earlier this week, Dan Klingensmith Jr. shared word that Mr. David Kunitz, aka the G.I.Joe Eco Warrior, Ozone, had wished the masses a happy Earth Day, courtesy of Creating G.I.Joe volume 8.

Well, that wasn’t the only G.I.Joe Superstar to chime in, as today, the former VP of engineering for Hasbro, Mr. Joe Morrone, shared a vid that you’ll surely want to check it! Read on below for more –

When I started my book project in late 2009, I never would have imagined that I’d meet as many people as I have who worked on the G.I. Joe brand!! After spending countless hours on the phone talking about their role at Hasbro, G.I. Joe, kids, etc…many of them I now consider friends and appreciate their invaluable insight and friendship!!

If you missed out the message from former designer and VP of design, David Kunitz (AKA Ozone), on the Kickstarter, check it out in the updates!

Today I wanted to share out a message from former VP of Engineering, Joe Morrone! In addition to the video, please see some sample pages from vehicles that Joe worked on!

The Kickstarter is sitting at 90% as of this afternoon! To those who have pledged already, thank you! To those who are still not sure, hopefully hearing from those who worked on the brand will assure you that this book or book series is worth getting!!

The campaign for volume 8 of Creating G.I.Joe: A Real American Hero is still going strong, having reached just over 91% of its initial funding goal with 13 days left to go! Have you gotten your pledge in yet? If not, then there’s no time like the present!
