Hasbro Pulse G.I. Joe 40th Anniversary Livestream Recap

Today was a day many G.I.Joe fans have been waiting for – The Hasbro Pulse G.I.Joe 40th Anniversary Livestream event! First and foremost, you can view the livestream in its entirety here:

Now that we have that out of the way, let’s dive in to what was revealed today! –

G.I.Joe Classified fans had a lot to cheer about, as we were first greeted with a grouping of (8) new Classified offerings! Now, only renderings were included this time around, but this aligns with the team’s new “Here’s what we have now, in hand and pre orders come later” style and I have to say, I dig it! So, without further adieu, check it out –

Wrapping up the Classified coverage was a piece that came towards the end of the livestream during the Q&A session. It was asked whether or not the Classified Retro carded offerings found at Walmart were legit or not. The G.I.Joe team confirmed that yes, all 4 are indeed real and will be offered during Walmart’s Collectors Con coming up. Lady Jaye, The Baroness, Destro & Gung Ho were quickly shown. Another awesome Retro reveal was the file card for the G.I.Joe Weapons Systems Officer, Fail-Safe aka Wayne Ruthel!

I’m beyond excited to get this figure in hand, as it’s the first new character we’ve received in a long, long time. Needless to say, his background is awesome!
