For those of you that know me personally, it’s safe to say that there’s not a lot that causes me to become speechless. Well, today is one of those days.
Just a little while ago, Bill Murphy of Fresh Monkey Fiction reached out to confirm that GOREGILLS, one of the characters being offered by BigBadToyStore for the 40th Anniversary celebration has reached its initial funding goal and will be made in to an action figure!
I shared this tidbit just yesterday, but for those of you that may have missed it, here’s a bit of history on GOREGILLS and why I’m so excited that he’s being created:
Back in 2018, Chris Irving of The Drawn Word held a Kickstarter campaign for his Eagle Force Pulp: Face The Fear title.
One of the campaign incentives that was offered immortalized “you” as a R.I.O.T. character that would meet a grim demise. My character was named after me, but after falling in battle to The Cat, I was experimented on and became the fearsome GOREGILLS! (It’s a play on my last name)
Needless to say, I’m both honored and humbled by the fact that I’ll be immortalized in plastic. As a side note, I love the idea of giving an action figure to my son, so that I can always go on his adventures with him!
There’s still plenty of time to get your order in for not only GOREGILLS, but for an entire assortment of amazing Eagle Force characters to add to your collection!
