New Acid Rain x Toys Alliance x Annex 2179 Offerings Inbound

Hot on the tail of their collection of releases last month, a new assortment of Acid Rain x Toys Alliance and Toys Alliance x Annex 2179 have been revealed, so let’s get right to it and check’em all out!

The Abaddon CQC Pack includes a Die-cast Metal Katana and Die-cast Metal Combat Knife, which can separately be equipped on the backs of Abaddon Troopers and the shoulders of Reborn Troopers. The set can also be used by other 1:18 Acid Rain World action figures, and includes an Omangan soldier head and helmet.

After collecting Hiro’s testing data, Dr. Nimmo started an even bolder project. She picked Esbat, an executed SSS-class murderer, as her test subject.
Esbat was a dangerous serial killer who always struck on the night of the full moon. He slaughtered more than a dozen police officers and became the first SSS-level murderer in the entire police district.

Dr. Nimmo stripped the nerves and organs from Esbat’s corpse and implanted them into an AR series combat robot. Slightly altering the technique that resurrected Hiro’s brain, Dr. Nimmo programmed a new personality for Esbat while suppressing his original bloodthirsty instincts. Thus, a strong and obedient fighter was born. UD6 Security Co. was extremely pleased with the result and brought Esbat back to become a police detective, giving him the code name Bloodsbane.

Bloodsbane proved to be a star officer and broke several records in the district. Yet on one fateful field mission, the clouds dispersed and a blood-red full moon appeared. Esbat’s original personality suddenly broke free, and he once again embarked on his murderous rampage. Only this time, his body was forged from unstoppable steel…

女法醫尼繆收集到弘的試驗數據後，決定進行更大膽的嘗試，把被處決的SSS級殺人犯「月魔」的屍體作為下一個實驗對象。
「月魔」是一個嗜血成癮的連續殺人犯，總在月圓之夜大開殺戒。曾將十多個追捕他的警官一同虐殺，成為首個被全警區聯合通緝的SSS級殺人犯。

尼繆把 「月魔」的中樞神經和重要器官從屍體剝離後，植入AR系列戰鬥軀體。再用與復活弘大腦相似的方法，壓制「月魔」原本的人格，植入另一個由尼繆編寫的新人格程式。這樣就創造出一個既順從，又有絕強戰鬥力的完美戰士。UD6治安公司對這個實驗品極為滿意，將他買回成為警區偵探，改名為「血刃」。

「血刃」極高的辦案效率，刷新了警區的多個記錄，很快成為了明星偵探。但在一次野外追捕行動中，雲層散開時出現了一輪詭異的紅月，「月魔」的人格突然掙脫而出，再次大開殺戒……

Last, but most definitely not least are a pair of reveals that have me super excited! For those that have been following the Acid Rain World from day one, or even in case you haven’t, one of the factions fighting for the war torn landscape of the Acid Rain World are the troops from the Republic of Yamato! Finally, we now have our first two figures from the Republic, FAV-A44 Kaiho Defense Officer and FAV-A45 Norinu Sentinel!

After the End Wars, the Yamato Republic committed to military de-escalation and retained only a small number of local forces for domestic security. Foreign defense was outsourced to mercenaries hired by the Kuromizu Corporation.

Local defense forces consist mainly of Kaiho Defense Officers, who are stationed on “Kaihos”- artificial maritime fortresses built on islands and reefs. They primarily respond to maritime threats and guard the coastline. In addition, Kaiho Defense Officers also provide rapid auxiliary support for counter-piracy and counter-smuggling raids.

終焉之戰後，大和共和國為提倡不再有戰爭，僅保留少量本土防務部隊協助維持國內治安，一切來自境外的威脅或武裝衝突，均交由黑水公司負責處理。
本土防務部隊設有大和陸上自護隊，其中海堡自護官是主要駐紮在海堡的守備力量。這些海堡是在島礁上人工擴建的軍事基地，用以應對海上威脅、阻擋艦隊，保護港灣。除此之外，海堡自護官還會在海盜搶掠、走私、偷渡等案件發生武裝衝突時，進行快速支援。

Large-scale northward migration fueled by refugees fleeing pollution and natural disasters replenished Norinu’s dwindling population, spurring agricultural and industrial growth that made Norinu’s economy flourish. However, many pirates and bandits also joined the migration tide and mingled into the region.
In response, the Yamato government set up the Norinu Independent Division to counter piracy and banditry. Candidates must pass strict tests to join the division, which includes precision shooting, martial arts and mastery of diverse weapons while bearing the weight of heavy defensive armor. Top candidates will be selected to become Norinu Sentinels.

受環境污染及自然災害影響，民眾大量北遷，北伊努得到充沛的人力資源補充，令農業與工業迅猛發展，成為最發達的地區之一。導致周邊海盜、不法集團人員以經商名義，大量混入其中謀取利益。
大和政府為此特別設立北伊努獨立師團，從通過精準射擊和古武道近身戰鬥考核的佼佼者中，選拔出北伊努兵衛。他們在身著重型防禦裝甲的情況下，依然能嫻熟順暢地使用多種中近戰武器作戰。
