Wordburglar launches welcome to cobra island vinyl printing FUNDRAISER EVENT

Heads up! In case you missed the news yesterday via Wordburglar’s Twitter account, the man that “once got busy in the back of a Buzz Boar” has launched a fun raiser event to bring his hit album, “Welcome to Cobra Island”, to vinyl! Here’s the scoop –

After years of requests we’re going to finally put Wordburglar’s “Welcome To Cobra Island” on vinyl – with your help!

The mission brief? Join forces with highly-skilled listeners from across the globe to fund this limited-edition, professionally mastered, heavyweight, snake-green vinyl pressing of Wordburglar’s classic hip-hop concept album “Welcome To Cobra Island”. The front cover will feature the original album artwork by indie comics hero Kody Peters, and the back cover contains all the lyrics, laid out in masterful design by art director supreme Matt Dawson – so you can know the other half of the battle!

The album itself features 12 pulse-pounding, swivel-arm battle tracks, suitable for ages 5 and up. Featuring the talents of Wordburglar and a hand-picked, special mission force of musicians and lyricists including Beatmason, Bix, CasUno, Chokeules, Esh The Monolith, Fresh Kils, Jesse Dangerously, Mister E, More Or Les, Nato, Peter Project, Rift, Savillion, Timbuktu and Touch.

How are we gonna get there? By keeping the cost of this limited vinyl as low as possible we’re hoping to engage enough listeners to help us reach our funding goal in 30 days. To sweeten the pot we’ve also pulled together some humble exclusive rewards to support the mission – digital comics by Wordburglar and friends and the chance to get original signed lyrics for the Wordburglar song of your choice. Plus digital music and some unlocked surprises when we make our goal!
