If you’re like me and couldn’t make it out to JoeFest 2020 this past weekend, then you’re in for a treat – Bobby Vala was kind enough to share his Action Force presentation and recording of the event! Here’s the scoop from the Valaverse booth!
First up, fans were greeted with a tour of the Action Force booth –
While we’re talking about fans, check out this absolutely killer cosplay of Pandora! That young cosplayer killed it! Way to go!

At the event, Bobby shared our first good look at the Action Force packaging. Talk about Nostalgia – The figure layout with Bio on the back, awesome window on the front…count me in!

During the panel, Bobby shared word that there won’t be a long wait for wave 2, as it’s staggered behind wave 1 by just a couple of months! Not only that, but check out all the tastiness coming our way –

First up, Valaverse takes care of G.I.Joe fans by offering the Valaverse Declassified Gear Pack, suited for a certain Marine in your life:

As you can see, Gung Ho not only has a proper vest and gear, but a proper cover! It’s sitting a bit high in these images, but that’s because it’s a resin proto with not much give. The end result will sit much better as it will have more play to it.

Next up, check out this absolutely killer Red Shadows homage, the Crimson Shadow Trooper! That throwback box art really does it for me. I can’t wait to add this guy to my collection:

We also have a new colorway coming our way in the form of the Brush Trooper and Brush Trooper gear:

Also, a few surprises from the initial line up have been included, including a pair of renames and one Troop Builder that I know fans are going to be hyped about –

Last, but most certainly not least, the best surprise ever – Sgt. Slaughter! Not only did he make an appearance at the panel, but his upcoming Action Force figure was on display and man, is it killer or what! Check it out –

If you want to relive the adventure, make sure to check out the panel presentation that has been uploaded to the Valaverse YouTube Channel:
It’s a very exciting time for Bobby and I am just as excited for him! I know I speak for many when I say that we wish Action Force the absolute best of luck!
If you haven’t done so as of yet, make sure to get your order in at CrowdOx. All the cool kids are doing it! 🙂
Looks very promising and I’ve to admit I’m tempted. But so far no international distribution it seems. Only 1 UK store seems to offer these so far (and with that dreaded Brexit…only 1 more month to go and still no deal in sight whatever). So, I’m afraid I’ll sit this one out for now.
Maybe you can pass the message along and ask your friend to see if he can not get these distributed overseas (and that does not limit itself to the UK) as well, as I’m pretty sure there’s quite some interest? 😦 Mythic Legions for example are widely available these days. And considering the fact Action Force is basically European, it would make perfect sense too. 😉

I heard the Crimson Shadow Trooper had been cancelled – anyone know if that’s true?

Sadly, that is indeed the case. Hopefully he’ll come back somewhere down the road.
