I’m continuing my pictorials of the Black Major 2020 Trident assortment with a look at the eye-popping Python Eel! It’s #BlackMajorMonday on #LaborDayWeekend2020, so you know I couldn’t close out the weekend without a glamour shot or two!
Well wait, not those kind of glamour shots! 🙂
Over the last month or so, I’ve reviewed the Black Major Eel De Aco, Copperhead Swamp Eel, Eel Replicant and Red Shadows Eel. Now, I shift my sights to one of my favorite sub groups with a look at the uber-cool Python Eel!
Primary colors always pop, but there’s something about the neon green used as the base color on this mold that really makes it something special. Its neon yellow & black highlights blend perfectly, with a pop of red to tie everything together.
In terms of QC, my figure only had one issue, a bit of shoulder separation. His breather hose also doesn’t stay connected to his pack all too well, but you can make it work if you’re gentle. All in all, I love it.
He includes the classic Eel gear, with a scuba gear, fins & harpoon gun.
The color scheme of the Python Eel blends perfectly with other recent Black Major Python Patrol releases, giving the figure a real feel of cohesion among his sub group mates.
I’m very happy to have had a chance to fiddle with this release. It’s most definitely a must for you Python Patrol collectors out there.
