Bill Murphy shares initial Eagle Force Returns Paint Samples

Heads up, Eagle Force fans! We’re one step closer at adding the highly anticipated Eagle Force Returns figures to our collections, as Bill Murphy has shared an assortment of images reflecting initial paint samples from the upcoming line.

Folks, PLEASE NOTE: Although the factory has sent images of some of the initial paint samples, Bill notes that needless to say, they need A LOT of work. Please be aware these are not production samples, these are 1st pass paint samples.

These figures are painted by the factory to get final approval before they go into mass production. These have many issues that willl need to resolved such as the use of glossy paint, mis-matched paint, incomplete or incorrect colors, etc…Check it out –

  • Captain Eagle (Vintage version)
  • The Cat (Modern version)
  • Stryker Jr.
  • Takedown’s Thunder Unit
  • Arctic Assault R.I.O.T. Commando
  • Fireball
  • Hornet
  • R.I.O.T. Shock Trooper

Bill was very hesitant to show any of these images, but this is part of the process and he wanted to Illustrate why these things take so long. The current factory being used, although capable of producing figures like Spero’s Animal Warrior of the Kingdom line, seem to be more challenged on every level with Eagle Force.

Bill will be spending the next month or so course correcting the factory to revise these samples. Bill is still confident he can get these done to the quality we as fans expect, but it will take time to get it right.  Bill has heard feedback from a few of you us that purchased the R.I.O.T. Commando test shot and are very happy with the quality of the construction of the figure. So once they nail down the paint Bill believes we’ll have some great figures. He’s got my vote of confidence!

It’s been a long ride, but it won’t be that much longer now!
