The Finest Supporting our Military’s Finest – Indiegogo

The Finest: A GI Joe Costume Club is happy to announce that 2018 has already been a record-smashing year for our veteran fundraising campaign, and we’re excited to end the year with a bang!

We are proud to have so many active duty service members and veterans in the Finest, and since our club was founded in 2007, we’ve strived to support charity organizations that help servicemen and women after they return home in an impactful way. Here’s how you can help!

OUR CAUSE

For the third consecutive year, the Finest is proud to support K9s For Warriors, an organization dedicated to providing service canines to warriors suffering from Post-traumatic Stress Disability, traumatic brain injury and/or military sexual trauma as a result of military service post-9/11.

Ninety-five percent of the canines in the K9s For Warriors program come from rescue shelters, and in 2015, the organization was able to raise more than $5.5 million dollars, which allowed them to pair 51 Warriors with service dogs – that’s at least 102 lives saved because of each person’s contribution! In September 2016, K9s for Warriors opened their second kennel, which houses up to 27 dogs in training; the 17,000 sq. ft. training facility now can house and train up to 54 dogs! In May 2017, they trained and graduated their 300th warrior!

We are dedicated to helping them reach their goal of helping 12 warriors each month, so 100% of the net proceeds earned from our charity campaign will be donated to K9s for Warriors!

PERKS!

We can’t support this amazing organization without the help of the GI Joe fan community, and to show our appreciation for your generous donations, we’ve created three brand new items and designs specifically for this campaign!

  • Patch
  • Challenge Coin
  • T-shirt

These all-new items are being offered for the first time ever, so get them now while supplies last and get geared up early for 2019!

* NOTE: We are happy to ship perks anywhere in the world! If you are outside North America, please email us your location and we will let you know what additional shipping charges may apply.

HOW YOU CAN HELP

Donating funds is the best way to get involved, but if you can’t contribute financially, that doesn’t mean you can’t help! Please spread the word about our campaign to your friends and family! Share our link on Facebook, Twitter, or other social media. Let other fandom groups know what we’re doing and use the Indiegogo share tools to help us get the word out. Harness the power of technology to help us achieve our goal! Get involved however you can – all help is appreciated!

The more funds we collect, the more funds go to K9s For Warriors and to veterans and their families who need our help! Our goal is to continue to help the men and women who sacrifice so much for us every single day, and to let them know that we value and appreciate their contributions and sacrifices! Please join with the Finest, and together, let’s use our love for GI Joe to make a lasting difference in the lives of military personnel and families!

Thank you!!!!!
