In case you missed the news from Toy Pizza, the Action Figure of the Month Club Kickstarter campaign has reached its initial funding goal and it’s first stretch goal offering has been unlocked!
This past Friday, Mr. Jesse DeStasio shared a fantastic write up on the first unlocked character, Desert Rat!
In “All About The Desert Rat“, Jesse notes that “The biggest single inspiration is really the Action Force UK line and their character called the Desert Rat (which was the designation of the The 7th Armoured Division in the British Army). ”
How awesome is that?! Now, not only is the Desert Rat figure unlocked, but we’ll see him in “Desert Tan” and “Army Man Green” as add-ons to the campaign! Woo Hoo!
As of the time of this post, we’re now under $1,700 away from our next unlockable item, a new head sculpt for the Desert Rat that transforms him in to Chorager!
